Beautifully filmed, cinematographically starry-eyed nonsense. An
incredibly shaky narrative and thematic narrative, its obvious
metaphorical aspirations obviously sending Fresnadillo and/or his
screenwriters into an absolutely mad, self-aggrandizing filmmaking
frenzy - filmmaking oftentimes awesome, to my begrudging admiration.
Hilarious effigy scene.
